What You’ll Do
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
- Create a welcoming and organized first-day experience
- Support employee engagement initiatives and retention efforts
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions and support
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with California labor laws and HR best practices
- Support leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and employee relations matters
- Assist with policy updates, handbooks, and internal processes
Benefits & Compensation
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment
- Partner with employees and carriers to resolve benefit questions
- Assist with compensation tracking, benchmarking, and HR reporting
Culture & Growth
- Help foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture
- Support leadership with coaching, communication, and employee development initiatives
- Contribute ideas to improve systems, efficiency, and employee satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience
- Knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices
- Experience in onboarding, employee relations, or benefits administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Healthcare, education, or multi-site workforce experience
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
