What You’ll Do

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Create a welcoming and organized first-day experience
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and retention efforts
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions and support

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Ensure compliance with California labor laws and HR best practices
  • Support leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and employee relations matters
  • Assist with policy updates, handbooks, and internal processes

Benefits & Compensation

  • Support benefits administration and open enrollment
  • Partner with employees and carriers to resolve benefit questions
  • Assist with compensation tracking, benchmarking, and HR reporting

Culture & Growth

  • Help foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture
  • Support leadership with coaching, communication, and employee development initiatives
  • Contribute ideas to improve systems, efficiency, and employee satisfaction

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience
  • Knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices
  • Experience in onboarding, employee relations, or benefits administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Healthcare, education, or multi-site workforce experience
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
