QUALIFICATIONS:

We are seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our established organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children with special needs.

Requirements:

- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field

- At least 6 ECE units

- Experience with kids 0-3 yrs

- Experience leading a classroom

- CPR and First Aid Certified

- Pass a fingerprint and background check.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote creative growth and growth in all developmental domains by the program's philosophy and policies.
  • Create, plan, and implement a weekly lesson with the Infant Development Specialist on the Developmental Domains.
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment.
  • Follow the classroom schedule and routine to ensure adequate physical activity and playtime.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
  • Supervise and train support staff
  • Lead the routine of the classroom.

Work with IDS in adapting equipment, curriculum, and behavior plans

  • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress throughout
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students
  • Previous experience in teaching
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Ability to build rapport with children
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 per year
