Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Preschool / Clinic
Location: Manteca, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week
Job Summary
Ascend’s Little Miracles Program is seeking a Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support our community-based preschool program serving children ages 18 months–3 years with developmental delays, learning differences, sensory processing needs, and communication disorders.
The RBT will provide ABA-based interventions under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support children’s growth and development in a fun, structured environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA/BCaBA
Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a preschool/community setting
Collect and document accurate data and session notes
Support children with daily routines, transitions, communication, and social skills
Assist with diapering, toileting, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines
Minimum Qualifications
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience working with children ages 0–5
CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable with hands-on care including diaper changing
Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention
Bilingual (preferred, not required)
Coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or ABA
